Redefining Life Services

There are different ways to be referred to the SAFE Baby Program:

Community-based Doula Referred: Doula will refer eligible participants to program
Community-based Organization Referred: Organization can submit referral for eligible participants to program
Self-referral program: If you meet at least 2 criteria

· Low socioeconomic status

· Limited education

· History of previous infant loss

· History of smoking

· History of alcohol/substance misuse

· History of intimate partner violence

· Young parental age

· History of unstable housing

· Intergenerational living

· Mental Health History

· Limited caregiver support

· Male caregivers

· More than one child (especially ages 5 and younger)
